I've been impressed by Clear Brook Counseling! Kim has been helpful and I have never had to wait long.
Make sure you get a receipt when you pay your copay....told me I owed for two visits...pretty much acused me of lying...good thing I had the receipt. Really liked my counselor....after five visits....the time slot I needed was booked for the next month. Don't think they cared that I discontinued their service.
I love the staff. They are always friendly and they actually know who I am when I walk in the door which is nice in a larger town. My particular provider is passionate about what she's doing and very knowledgable about different techniques to use in therapy such as EMDR and hypnosis. I would recommend this place to anyone particularly if you are struggling with addiction, eating disorders, and anxiety/depression.
I have found Clear Brook Counseling to be the best fit for me. The front desk staff is very professional and helpful. The counselor I see is a great fit for what I need help with (so much so that I moved back to Ames a little early so I could see her again!). The facility is always clean and tidy. There is also a keurig, water, and wifi!
Wonderful and friendly staff. A nice and calming atmosphere. I have recommended to people fighting depression, or trauma.
