My wife, son and I went together and had a horrible experience. The employees barely paid attention to the children that were running amok. My son slipped on a busted pumpkin on the ground, breaking his arm. When the owner came out, she was very disrespectful and told us if we came after her for it, she would win because she has lawyers for situations such as this.

I study architecture at Iowa State University and my professor rents a space out to be our studio space. The owners and others are all very kind and respectful and the farm itself is beautiful in that it depicts Iowan farm history well.

Steer clear of this place. Not only is it a dangerous environment, but she clearly has no regard for the customers that visit the farm.

This is the second year my family and I have gone to Black's for a fun tour and pumpkin choosing. Everyone is very friendly and it is clear they love their animals. It is always a great feeling to help support a family operated organization as apposed to some intrusive corporate company. Would recommend for any couple/family looking to have a fun time! Thanks and see you next year!
