Burgie's is definitely not something you'd expect to find in a gas station. You'll find an armchair next to a fireplace with a Chinese checker set and plenty of space for your friends to hang out, too.
They also sell whole bean and ground coffee, brew supplies, and they roast their own coffee.

Their tea is loose leaf that they place in unbleached filters (win!) with the exception of their Chai which I think is Arizona premixed (meh). The coffee here is always prepared beautifully. It's never burnt and latte's come with pretty leaf designs.
Jamoca shake is amazing! Food is excellent and prepared quickly. Overall customer service is very friendly. Rewards program is working out better than I intially thought, free items build up quickly even though I only stop once a month.
The baked goods here are all homemade every day so you even get freshly made biscuits on your breakfast sandwich! My favorite baked good is their scones, I've never really cared for scones, but their scones are so wonderful that I often end up getting one after already having breakfast at home. I then tell myself that I'm going to save it for later as a snack, decide to sneak just a bite, and then I eat the whole darn thing. Every time.
I love this place, the staff are all amazing and friendly. The coffee and tea are always great and the staff is trained to make expertly crafted drinks from the espresso bar.
Drive through or come inside to a warm atmosphere to study or meet friends.
The final thing that makes this place stand out is their extensive manual coffee bar options. If you have ever considered buying a manual brew method or want to try pour overs, this is a great place for that.

Needless to say, it gets pretty crowded in the morning, but it's worth leaving 10 minutes earlier for it. The service is always excellent! Everyone is incredibly nice. If you have an hour or two to kill, or you need a quiet place to just "be", go to Burgie's.
